Talking to @me , who programmed and hosts a popular sushi restaurant in virtual reality.

jlamothe.net/

This is the fourth of a series of interviews, following @vidak's permacomputer, @jeremy_list's Habitat and @kasper's Swooprace. Using Mashey's #unix scale, Paradise sushi is a minor success.

As well as #MUD, #commonLisp #CLIM #gamedev on #itchio.

#lispyGopherClimate featuring @jeremy_list in one hour (at 0UTC Wednesday = 8pm Boston Tuesday)

I wish that programmer in NZ meant jeremy_list in the general case and not just in the specific case!

Dave has worked extensively over the decades on #libre #education , #OER . Dave is a herptophile so we better talk about #logo #turtleDrawing at least!

Lots of questions about education-focused-programming-languages (like LOGO!).

We have @vnikolov talking about common lisp and type checking macros

+:
We do not have incredible artist @shizamura who has her fourth #scifi comic volume finished being funded or something (?) sarilho.net/en/ (if you speak english and not portuguese).
She promises to record something about semantics for us in the future.

@chrisamaphone I really only know about #LambdaMOO. Maybe we're newbie friendly?

@screwlisp has a radio show on #aNONradio every Tuesday evening (UTC 00:00 Wednesday; I'm US-based so it's my Tuesday evening), and a bunch of us hang out on LambdaMOO and listen to the show and make comments (which he then reads over the air, so it's kind of like a call-in show). You could join as a guest than and while it might be chaotic, there would be lots of people around to ask questions.

Also Cross-Referencing Editor Facility Kent wrote at Open University in England one summer on the Zmacs/Zwei #emacs substrate.

Live chat in #lambdaMOO as always, and I will also be watching #emacsconf on #irc. Please do engage with Kent directly live (through my voice)

Hi @wrog, I'm curious about the current CPU and RAM usage of #LambdaMOO (the instance by that name). I've seen the current CPU and RAM specs provided in the version info (Core i3-2100, 6 GB of RAM). Does the MOO server ever even make a dent in those resources? How big is the DB?

Getting back into MOOs after a couple decades of not doing much of anything with them.

Resurrected Sandewall's #softwareIndividuals from 2014.

This episode is dedicated to general purpose interaction in the software individual / #CAISOR paradigm.

Next will be porting the dynamicwindows zetalisp zwei to McCLIM #commonlisp.
