🕶️ A bird's eye view of the beginning of the game where the protagonist comes out of the inn-hotel from where he just woke up. The graphics are adorable, partly from the Nintendo series (fair use). A mini-map at the bottom right of the screen allows you to locate yourself geographically. 📚️ The Legend of Zelda: Mercuris Chest is a (partially) libre and multi-platform reboot of The Legend of Zelda: Mystery of Solarus DX (zsdx), itself thought as the sequel of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (on SNES), an action-RPG game, with the same graphics (reason why it is only partially libre) and game mechanics. This reboot is the most ambitious project of the Solarus Team, it has the ambition to become a reference amateur Zelda, with a huge and open world, many biomes, NPCs and side quests, and characters and graphical elements specially created to give it its own charm.

Solarus is a free, open source, 2D game engine primarily designed for creating Action-RPGs (often called "Zelda-like" games) that is written in C++ and allows users to script their game logic using Lua. It is considered open source because its code is publicly accessible and can be modified and distributed by anyone under the GPL v3 license.

Creemos que la mayoría de jugadores estarán de acuerdo con nosotros en que tanto Bloodborne y la saga Zelda son videojuegos excelentes.

Y esa misma opinión la debió tener el desarrollador Max Mraz al crear Yarntown con el motor libre Solarus. Este juego es la perfecta mezcla de como se vería Bloodborne si fuera un juego al estilo los Zelda clásicos de la Super Nintendo.

The Streets of Melbourne

#KateOsborne, founder of #Solarus, operates her ethical, virtuous publishing house from #Devon, in the #UK.

I met Kate around 15 years ago and I was stoked when she diversified her traditional publishing services and expanded operations to include an ‘artisan’ publishing arm back in 2016.

She develops, collaborates and distributes oracle cards / divination decks internationally… and her personal art-works are abso stunning. So too the accompanying words that matches perfectly to each card’s theme.

Many of the decks have been digitally created by Kate. Such a talent. The art is breathtaking.

The #GothikaRevealed oracle card deck is a favourite of mine and I use this when I seek inspiration and guidance.

As you know, #roses are a fave of mine too… so today I’ll feature the #rose card.
