"Solus is an unusually stable, unusually simple to use rolling release distribution. Everything is pretty straight forward, everything works (at the lower levels), everything installed and updated smoothly."

@rl_dane #Solus is indeed very stable for a #RollingRelease #Linux distro.
As is #PCLinuxOS
Both have excellent installs of #KDE, but PCLinuxOS is a version behind.
I'm seeing some posts about issues with a new Linux kernel, so I'd like to say I'm really grateful for the bleeding-edge people who are working out all those kinks so that my cowardly Debian computer can be safe.
Godspeed you all. :)
I'm really considering switching from Pop!_OS to Arch/Garuda Linux. I need a newer version of GTK, but Pop!_OS is stuck on an older version, which is a blocker for me. I really like Arch/Garuda a lot—the rolling upgrades are a big advantage compared to being stuck on ancient versions of packages. That said, switching OSes is a huge commitment, looking at 1-3 days to get everything set up. I could take a day or two to write a script and let it do the work.
Ein Blick auf das "neue" Rolling Release von Siduction 2024.1.0 - Installation und Überblick
IMHO & AFAIK.

September’s #Tumbleweed update is here! Major updates include #PostgreSQL 17, #Harfbuzz 10, #Linux Kernel 6.11, and more! Remember, Snapper has your back if any issues arise. #openSUSE #RollingRelease https://news.opensuse.org/2024/09/30/tw-monthly-update-september/
Angenommen du nutzt eine Rolling Release Distribution. Legst du Wert auf eine Versionierung?
Linux Mint, Ubuntu, and LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) are three popular Linux distributions, each with its own unique characteristics, philosophies, and user bases.

Welcome to the Show!
Looks like doing one `apt full-upgrade` to one of my #Devuan Ceres (unstable) machines safely "unclogged" the 200+ packages that had been held back for 2 months now with no apparent breakage anywhere else.
Guess it can be a useful trick (after analyzing carefully what in fact is being updated) despite my usual advice not to do it:
Dank jüngster Ereignisse durfte ich ein openSUSE Tumbleweed Rolling Release wieder arbe^^^gaming-tauglich machen.
