2024-10-29: I hope they'll keep Ji Yeeun. There never was a single Running Man episode that I got bored with since she joined. I love the character she's role-playing too and how she's acting it, it reminds me of my school years, especially Grade 9 and Grade 10. The good ol' days when we're all teenagers falling in love and teasing each other. Keep it up Yeeun, you revived Running Man!

Is there a website or an online museum which tracked the origin of traditional #games and how it spread across different nations?

There are traditional games in #Korea and the #Philippines which are (very) similar, yet, there was no known contact between the two nations at the time these traditional games were estimated to have been “developed”.

That only leaves us with two possibilities:
1. The games did develop independently. Which gives us the idea that humans think similarly regardless of place and time.

2. Another foreign contact brought the games.

Here are some examples:
Korea: Red Light, Green Light.
Philippines: Stop, Go.

Philippines: Sipa (predates Spanish rule)
Korea: I don't remember what it's called, but I first saw it in a #RunningMan episode.

Korea: #SquidGame
Philippines: #Patintero

Marbles game
Philippines: Jolen, Holen, or just marbles.
Korea: can't remember what it's called.

Korea: Gonggi
Philippines: Jackstone

Running Man 2023x679 "Goodbye, So Min" ★★★★★★★★★★

I delayed watching ep679 because it's a farewell episode for Jeon So Min, but it is unavoidable as farewells are a part of our lives.

To Miss So Min, thank you for all the laughter you've given us through Running Man. We will definitely miss your unique comedy in the show. As you have said, it was a dream come through for you and congratulations, you did amazing for 7 years!

Keep looking forward as life still has a lot in store for you. Whatever was the reason you have to bid farewell, remember always to be happy. Family, health, and happiness is a right of every human being.

So, keep running girl! And always wear your genuine smile.

Saranghae from the Philippines!

Really hyped for #MovieNight tonight on the Discord. We're watching the 2021 Japanese film, Baby Assassins.

Been wanting to see this one for awhile, so glad it got voted in this time.. speaking of voting, our September Asian film voting ends shortly also. Will try to remember to announce later lol.

After movie night is Episode 108 of Running Man w/ guests Lee Joon (MBLAQ) and Gong Hyo Jin.
