Finished #Pyre!
Mixed feelings about it...
On one hand, a very fun and original game, with absolutely nothing else like it!
On the other hand, much of it felt incomplete, as if Supergiant was planning to make something much greater but ended up cutting a lot to release...

finally figured out a way to get the native Linux version of #Pyre to start after the glibc 2.41 update
execstack --clear-execstack lib64/libfmod.so.8
Not precisely a #pyre but it’s related to my mood this week. A day late here because I was flying and didn’t have time to upload (can’t do it reliably from my phone due to my cloud setup).
Thought I'd try that thing where I just make art without antialiasing and call it pixel art. I couldn't help doing a little AA though; next time I'll try more dithering.

Playing Pyre after Hades and Transistor makes you notice a lot of reused concepts and assets among the games.
It's very cool!
2: Jodariel, #Pyre
I don’t remember exactly when I realised I had a thing for tall, brawny women, but hoo boy Jodariel! Giant, confident, and those muscles! I also loved her reaction to being told you feel safe around her. It was a hit to the self-esteem when she turned me down (how trash do you have to be to be turned down by fictional characters?), and I can’t help but be bitter over how she ends up with that Ignarius flog (she’s too good for him!)
10: PYRE
I don’t care for sports games or visual novels, but this fantasy sports visual novel really grabbed me. Only Supergiant could’ve pulled that off! Great writing and characters as usual, too. The story-based mechanic of dismissing your favorite characters early from your team made for some tough choices.
Is there any *good* type-checker for python? But I really mean a good one... I had bad experiences with mypy being not smart enough and even pyre-check can't handle `Optional` types correctly (similar issue with mypy).
Should I just give up on trying to have a better experience with python and just accept the fact that it is an inherently bad language to type-check?

@FreiGuy86 I enjoyed Bastion and to a lesser extent Transistor. Totally bounced off of #Pyre though, just couldn't get my head around the sport aspect to it.
