First game I finish this April: #FinalFantasy IV for the #PSP, and what a game! This is already my favorite Final Fantasy game, and one of the best #JRPG I've ever played, which I honestly wasn't expecting after how bad — IMO — Final Fantasy III was. The fact that this story continues in Final Fantasy IV Interlude and Final Fantasy IV The After Years is tempting me to keep playing right away but I don't think I will, I want to get a PS Vita first. Totally recommended.

Happy 20 years to the PSP!

Here's my PSP 1000 model. This thing desperately needs some TLC; the battery no longer holds a charge and the control stick has an exaggerated drift, making most games unplayable. I get most of my PSP fix on the Steam Deck these days, but part of me wants to crack this thing open and see if I can restore it to working order.

Weird to think that we've now had two decades of 3D graphics on handhelds. Do you have any PSP favorites?

My #PSP select button wasn't working properly so I tried cleaning it with a toothbrush and alcohol, without opening it, that is, the result? I flooded the system with alcohol, LOL. It has since evaporated but the select button still doesn't work, so... Time to buy a PS Vita? 😬

My copy of Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission Wifix (for PSP) has arrived! And imagine my surprise when it is actually the French version (both the cover and the manual are entirely in French, but the game itself is entirely in English (and maybe other languages, if I were to change the system language)). :neodog_blep: Of all games to have in French, Astetix & Obelix is certainly a fitting one!

:aneodog_bongo_fast: I have great nostalgia for the PC version of this game, I can't wait to play through it once again. I did a quick test of it and played the tutorial and a bit of Lutetia. I'm always surprised at the power of this little 20 year old console - the game is basically the same as it was on the PC.

Been recently replaying Metal Gear Acid on #PSP.... and with my side project shufflings recently, I now really want to make a zombie survival game for ZXSpectrum using the Acid game mechanics.

It's fun to dream up these fun ideas even if I know I'll never have the time to actually do them
