Yesterday was a very lazy day for me. I played video games, Borderlands 3 to be exact, and took two different naps of about two hours each. One in the morning and one in the evening.
It was nice to enjoy a lazy, quiet, non-productive day and to be completely honest with you, I'm going to try my best to do it again today if I can achieve it!

I'm not quite fully awake yet, but I'm trying to get there. Lucky Charlie! He just plops down on his side, and just like that, he's asleep. If I move from my chair, he'll be instantly awake and ready for anything, especially food. Interestingly, I found Ben curled up in his bed when I got up this morning, and I had to wake him up to go outside. It's usually the other way around. Well ... uh ... he is always the one to go outside, but he usually helps wake me for the event. I think that after mealtime, I'll take a short nap myself; maybe it will clear my head. Hmmm... something's weird. It's seven minutes to mealtime, and Charlie is still sleeping.

I've seen two people saying they are sleepy in my timeline. I just took a 30-minute nap and now I feel refreshed.
about 12:30pm today I decided it was nap time. I went in to lie down and my cat was there. other than a couple brief snoozes I don’t think I slept much, but I had an hour long snuggle with him and got up feeling much better physically and not as grumpy mentally.
I’m going to take that as a win.
As a parent I've rediscovered that naps are awesome.

If Monday gets you down, it just takes a cat to put it in perspective. Monday is, so very very beneath her, obviously the cat is the court of Monday appeals. All hail our cat overlord! Appropriate churu treat offerings were made and accepted, now 1 extra nap has been granted
