#PSA: You can now completely deactivate map rotation in Osmand. The compass now has a mode that does not allow any rotation and forces North to be always up. This also avoids accidental rotation with gestures.

No sé si afectará a todas las gráficas por igual, pero los últimos drivers de NVIDIA hacen que la placa no pueda detectar la temperatura de la gráfica.

Así que como la pongas a trabajar lo mismo se te achicharra porque no se van a activar los ventiladores.

Conviene volver a los drivers anteriores hasta que publiquen un hotfix.

EDIT: Antes lo digo y antes sale el Hotfix. Eso sí, bajadlo manualmente, porque el programa de nvidia no baja los hotfix automáticamente

I'm going to put this here (it's also in a reply) in case people don't know.

In Australia, the parties are paid by the AEC, to reimburse some of their campaign spending, if they reach 4% of the primary (first preference) vote.

So if you like your local independents or socialists or small parties or greens, give them your *first* preference.

It means your vote can be useful to changing the political landscape, even if it ultimately ends up with a major party because you live in a safe seat or similar.

It's also a *really* good reason not to donkey vote. Vote they way you want, or don't vote. Donkey voting (numbering down from the top without thinking) sends money to whoever is at the top of the ballot.

When a single toot takes up so much space I need to scroll through a full screen on my phone twice, then... Wow. Maybe get a blog instead?

I know some people chafe with strict character limits, but please don't go overboard like this.

• Windowshade only works with X11 windows
• No compatibility with wtype, and ydotool doesn't handle Unicode (or at least, not emoji) (So, now way to inject text into the active window, like for an emoji picker)
• No way (that I've found so far) to get the title/name of the active window
  • Correction: this is doable with kdotool: kdotool getwindowname $(kdotool getactivewindow)

That's it so far. I'll add to this if I find/remember anything else.

One more thing I've just observed: the mouse cursor doesn't disappear in LibreOffice Calc when just moving the selection cursor with the arrow keys. It does disappear (as I have specified in settings) when you actually type something in, though.

Quickie personal hat project. Made it, using a Brother SE1900 sewing & embroidery machine. The hardest part was pinning the hat firmly. The actual embroidery itself was fast since it was done by a machine.
