#introduction
Hi I’m Tim, (named for the sorcerer in #MontyPython #HolyGrail ) by my human familiar back in what we laughingly call the real world.
This will be an organic post at least at first so expect edits to append to it on a fairly regular basis.
TL;DR Hi, Scouse Squirrel poet , art appreciator, part time philosopher with MH issues.
I’m a #tech nerd , ex Mainframe Storage Manager who has done a little bit of everything whilst never really losing his identity as a Storage Manager, if your computer doesn’t need a reinforced steel floor to stand on then frankly I consider it a toy (only kidding #Linux peeps
)
I’m a Scouser by birth, but now a naturalised Yorkshire lad , living in Gods own country
!
I have chronic #MajorDepressiveDisorder with a boring list of lesser MH challenges to make life interesting.
I have recently discovered I’m autistic, which is a whole new thing to me !
Owned by 2 #CatsofMastodon agents of darkness & chaos , Sophie & Alice.
About a month ago, late on a Saturday night , I was drunk & tired f about to turn in when we had a big thunderstorm.
We rarely get thunderstorms in this part of #Yorkshire so I fond myself jotting down my thoughts as the storm waxed & waned .
The result was the Storm trilogy of #poems (must get round to posting those again) .
Understand that I had previously only written 1 proper poem which probably cost me an ‘A’ in my English Language ‘O’ level
That strange mix of circumstances released something in me & I have written a few more since.
Btw , I don’t really consider them poems, more brain leaks, but peeps in the know who actually write #poetry assure me that they count
Tim McTuffty was created as the publishing channel for my brain leaks & moved here for the glorious freedom of 11k chrs
In starting #writing I have also discovered a latent interest in other forms of art & the capacity to bore people to death in a single toot means that Tim will also be my gateway to the more serious side of my nature.
There will (by request from a peep who will remain anonymous to protect the guilty) also be the odd reminiscence of my experiences in the computer world, mostly because I’m too lazy to thread them on my other a/c @MaJ1
