I love #Linky as a #Linktree alternative for #Wordpress which is in compliance with the #GDPR. Unfortunately Linky seems to be abandoned and there are no new social media icons / items for example. Do you know of new alternatives (which must be GDPR proof)?

I made one, it is called linkypoo it can be hosted wherever you like, e.g. github pages

RMiddleton.Art What I want to tell people off the fediverse is how nice it feels when internet standards aren't suppressed. To add the 2 links in the post above quickly I went to my FOSS fediverse tree of links @ https://linksta.cc/@RMiddleton then I long clicked on the links and copied them over to this app. Features work as expected in non proprietary software.
@linkstack is my favorite underappreciated #fediverse app. Easily replaces #LinkTree with no bullshit no tracking.

How much more useful would LinkTree be if it federated? As a model, look at what the founders of Libravatar did, when they looked at Gravatar and came up with a federated way of doing the same job;

If you're looking for a new linktree type thing and can self-host, I can tell you that @linkstack just works and I don't think about it.
Honestly, it's a BIT MUCH for me - way too many features - but it works!
A few other recommended alternatives, not requiring self-hosting.
