TIL (Today I Learned) that, while on the train, if you spray a hand moisturizer that's lightly scented like the cologne my grandma used to wear, then the endless rattling of your crispy-snack package won't irritate the heck out of me – because I'm busy thinking about my grandma.
The oligarchs are distracting the people that need to be solely focussed on the fascism that is passing opressive laws.
Some of the things that will be used to justify this #War of #Distraction will be #Canada 's retaliation to #US #tariffs. There have already been social media posts about how our economically defensive tactics are "illegal".
Combined with the sociopathic dismissal of #Canada as "not a real country" and how we are "subsidized" or "tariff abusers" -- the #POTUS is 'othering' and essentially de-humanizing #Canadians.
The real motive is to expand territory and gain access to energy and minerals.
