Fentanyl & Diarrhea: Coming Soon to a Blue City Near You

"Public Transportation in Portland Oregon. A man nodded out on fentanyl with his pants with diarrhea surrounded by cereal that he tossed everywhere. It’s no wonder nobody is sitting near him."

In 2020, Oregon voters overwhelmingly approved Ballot Measure 110, making Oregon the first state in the U.S. to decriminalize possession of small amounts of all drugs

Law enforcement interviewees viewed BM 110 as a failure; they perceived it resulted in an erosion of their authority. They expressed frustration that they could not use drug possession as a “tool” for investigations to pursue and build cases, establish probable cause, and impose what they believed necessary for social order. Law enforcement personnel in all four counties indicated they routinely seized drugs and drug paraphernalia during encounters with people using drugs, even when that was the only offense being committed.

‘Democrat strategist James Carville says those who still push 'asinine' trans sports policies are pandering to 'left-wing zombies’’
https://www.foxnews.com/media/james-carville-says-those-who-still-push-asinine-trans-sports-policies-pandering-left-wing-zombies

"Veteran Democratic Party strategist James Carville blasted some liberals for still failing to evolve past certain far-left policies he has blamed repeatedly for sinking the party in the past.

Discussing the issue on Thursday’s "Politics War Room" podcast, Carville said those on the left who promote trans inclusion in women’s sports are trying to score a "cheap political point with a bunch of left-wing zombies." He added that they’re "ruining the women that work their a--es off, that compete."

Betty Yee, former state controller and Democratic candidate for the governorship of California, argued on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" that there should be a conversation about gender-neutral categories at the 2028 LA Olympics. "I think transgender athletes are women athletes and they should be able to compete," she said.

"What bullshit," Carville said in response to Yee’s ideas.
"I want to take this Betty Yee from the standpoint of somebody that has daughters and somebody that — my daughters would were never particularly athletic — but I have a lot of friends that have daughters that play soccer, play volleyball, run track, play softball," Carville said on the podcast. "You know what their parents don't want them doing for good f------ reason is competing with males."

He then proposed Yee take note of the last Olympics’ winning female score in any particular event and compare it to what it would have been if it were against men in the same sport and note the disparity between the two.

"Because, what you're doing, you understand what you're doing, to try to some kind of cheap political point with a bunch of left-wing zombies is you're ruining the women that work their a--es off, that compete, and by the way, there's been an explosion in interest in women's sports," Carville said. "The last thing they need to do is be competing against the Duke men's basketball team."

Carville declared, "This is asinine, asinine, asinine,"

Co-host Al Hunt replied, "It's actually an insult to Title IX, which you have to give Richard Nixon credit for."

"It's just like ‘Why?’ Where are these people coming from? What rock did they crawl from under?" Carville asked rhetorically."

Leather-wearing Democratic state lawmaker Scott Wiener to challenge Nancy Pelosi for California House seat

https://nypost.com/2025/10/17/us-news/leather-wearing-democratic-state-lawmaker-scott-wiener-to-challenge-nancy-pelosi-for-california-house-seat

"Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will face a primary challenge in 2026 from Scott Wiener, a leather-wearing state lawmaker who is a “drag queen advocate” and has already raised $1 million for his campaign.

Wiener, who has represented San Francisco and other parts of the Bay Area in the California Senate since 2016, had previously said he would wait until Pelosi, 85, retired to run for her long-held congressional seat, but multiple outlets reported on Friday that the state lawmaker will announce his candidacy for Congress next week.

“Scott Wiener for Congress,” the state senator’s congressional campaign committee, was set up in 2023 and reported over $1 million in contributions at the end of the last month. Meanwhile, Pelosi reported about $2 million in contributions to her principal campaign committee.

Pelosi, who underwent hip surgery late last year after a fall in Europe and has been seen using her security detail’s assistance to get around Capitol Hill as recently as earlier this week, has not announced any plans to retire.

“Speaker Pelosi is fully focused on her mission to win the Yes on 50 special election in California on November 4th,” Ian Krager, a spokesperson for the congresswoman, said in a statement.

Wiener, 55, is described as “one of the strongest LGBTQ civil rights champions in the nation,” on his state Senate profile.

He’s backed legislation promoting so-called gender-affirming care for minors; allowing non-binary designations on government IDs; and ending the mandatory inclusion of adults who have oral and anal intercourse with minors on sex offender registries, arguing that the law “disproportionately targets LGBT young people.”

Wiener, who is openly gay and regularly attends San Francisco’s annual Folsom Street Fair kink festival in a leather vest and leather tie, is also a self-described “drag queen advocate.”

In response to a 2022 Texas legislative effort to ban drag shows when minors are present, Wiener floated schools “offering Drag Queen 101 as part of the K-12 curriculum.”

“Attending Drag Queen Story Time will satisfy the requirement,” he tweeted.

Pelosi, 85, has yet to announce whether she will seek re-election in 2026.

An outspoken critic of President Trump, Wiener has blasted the National Guard as “Trump’s private army” and recently warned the commander in chief to “stay the hell out of San Francisco.”

He has also described Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as “a paramilitary police force” and a “modern-day gestapo.”

Democrats Are Still Not Listening😡

How Democrats Are Confronting Divisions Over Cultural Issues
https://archive.ph/gGYQP

“The slogan of the Democratic Party should be the slogan of my former boss, Paul Wellstone, when he said: ‘We all do better when we all do better,’”

"MINNEAPOLIS—Defiant Democratic activists are rejecting warnings from veteran party strategists that left-wing positions on transgender rights and other visceral cultural issues are pushing away coveted voting blocs Democrats need to rebound in future elections.
During a Democratic National Committee business meeting here last week, the party’s LGBTQ Caucus dismissed focus group data from the centrist Democratic think tank Third Way showing that rank-and-file voters are repelled by gender-amorphous language progressive activists use to encourage transgender acceptance: “birthing person,” “chest feeding,” “LGBTQIA+,” etc. Blue collar voters, a bedrock Democratic constituency voting Republican in increasing numbers, are especially disturbed by this terminology, per the party-aligned Working Class Project.
“We literally have folks telling us that we cannot say the word ‘LGBTQ,’ we cannot say the word ‘cisgender,’ ‘transgender’—and by the way, not poll-tested, no research to back it up. Literally, just some feels from some folks in D.C.,” LGBTQ Caucus Chairman Sean Meloy told the group amid a discussion about boosting support for Democratic candidates in this year’s off-year contests in New Jersey and Virginia and the 2026 midterm elections. (Neither “LGBTQ” nor “transgender” made Third Way’s list; “cisgender” did.)
Leigh Finke, a transgender woman and Democratic member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, followed Meloy’s remarks with a polling presentation and analysis that acknowledged the voter backlash party strategists have identified, but Finke was otherwise dismissive. Finke said voters’ concerns—often driven by opposition to transgender women playing girls’ sports or minors receiving gender-altering health care—are the product of “rampant misinformation and disinformation” peddled by Republicans.
“There is nothing organic about the anti-trans movement in America. It is a national, coordinated, highly funded campaign for political purposes,” Finke said. “The good thing about attitudes about trans people is that they are extremely movable.” DNC activists were similarly skeptical that voters are receptive to President Donald Trump’s crime crackdown, with one presentation reported by Semafor’s David Weigel featuring a poll showing “voters overwhelmingly favor a ‘serious about safety’ approach over ‘tough on crime.’” The poll was fielded by a group that seeks to end mass incarceration.
Elected DNC members from across the country gathered in a downtown Minneapolis hotel last week for regularly scheduled sessions to discuss party operations, including voter turnout strategies, fundraising, messaging on key issues, potential changes to the Democratic Party’s policy platform and—of course–anxiety fueled by Republican majorities in Congress and Trump.
“As a big tent, we have conservative Democrats, we have centrists, we have progressives like me, and we have leftists,” DNC Chairman Ken Martin said during remarks to the party’s Midwestern Regional Caucus, whose members hail from states where Trump-led Republican inroads threaten Democratic prospects in presidential elections. “You don’t win elections by pushing people out of the conversation.” While the ideological diversity Martin heralded was most apparent in the Democratic split over Israel, his comments indicate he understands the party’s hurdles with various voting blocs.
Martin cut short the third and final day of the DNC meeting in response to the deadly August 27 mass shooting at Minneapolis’ Annunciation Catholic Church that killed two children who attend the institution’s K-8 school and critically injured several others. But during the first two days, DNC members held robust discussions about recovering from Trump’s impressive 2024 victory, recapturing the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, and restoring trust in a party suffering from low approval ratings.
Party activists largely agreed the best way forward is to talk to voters about Democratic plans to lower the cost of living, improve access to health care, and make the government responsive to voters. “The slogan of the Democratic Party should be the slogan of my former boss, Paul Wellstone, when he said: ‘We all do better when we all do better,’” Martin added during comments to the Midwestern Regional Caucus, citing Minnesota’s beloved Democratic senator, who died in 2002 while campaigning for reelection."

The Memo That Proves Democrats Are Having a Psychotic Break

"In this segment of Dumpster Fire, Host Bridget Phetasy reacts to the Democrats' spectacularly creepy memo telling their party to stop using 45 woke terms like "birthing person," "chest feeder," and "microaggression" because they make them sound like elitist weirdos to normie voters. After spending a decade policing everyone's language and canceling people for wrong-think, they're now blaming activists while pretending they weren't the ones forcing HR departments to implement diversity trainings about "birthing persons."

THEY SHOULD BAN "TRANS" AN "QUEER" TOO

The ‘woke’ words Democrats should cut from their vocabulary
https://www.politico.com/news/2025/08/22/democrats-woke-language-blacklist-00519421

"Democrats seem to think they can talk their way out of the political wilderness.
Listen closely and you can hear it through the din of their all-caps Trumpian X feeds, their hourslong “manosphere” podcast interviews and their more frequent swearing.
Nearly 10 months after the 2024 elections, and the party is still embroiled in self-recriminations over where they’re talking, what they’re talking about and, now, the actual words they’re using. Or, more precisely: which words they shouldn’t utter.
In a new memo, shared exclusively with POLITICO, the center-left think tank Third Way is circulating a list of 45 words and phrases they want Democrats to avoid using, alleging the terms put “a wall between us and everyday people of all races, religions, and ethnicities.” It’s a set of words that Third Way suggests “people simply do not say, yet they hear them from Democrats.”
They span six categories — from “therapy speak” to “explaining away crime” — and put in sharp relief a party that authors say makes Democrats “sound like the extreme, divisive, elitist, and obfuscatory, enforcers of wokeness.” In the document, titled “Was It Something I Said?” Third Way argues that to “please the few, we have alienated the many — especially on culture issues, where our language sounds superior, haughty and arrogant,” according to the memo.
Among the blacklisted terms: privilege … violence (as in “environmental violence”) … dialoguing … triggering … othering … microaggression … holding space … body shaming … subverting norms … systems of oppression … cultural appropriation … Overton window … existential threat to [the climate, democracy, economy] … radical transparency … stakeholders … the unhoused … food insecurity … housing insecurity … person who immigrated … birthing person … cisgender … deadnaming … heteronormative … patriarchy … LGBTQIA+ … BIPOC … allyship … incarcerated people … involuntary confinement.
“We are doing our best to get Democrats to talk like normal people and stop talking like they’re leading a seminar at Antioch,” says Matt Bennett, Third Way’s executive vice president of public affairs. “We think language is one of the central problems we face with normie voters, signaling that we are out of touch with how they live, think and talk. In recent weeks, this has become a bit of a thing, with comedians like Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman highlighting how insane Dems can sometimes sound. Also, elected officials like [Delaware Rep.] Sarah McBride and [Kentucky Gov.] Andy Beshear are begging their colleagues to just be normal again.”
“People can’t relate to something unless it has some edge about it,” Lanae Erickson, Third Way’s senior vice president, tells Playbook. “And we had shaved off all of our edges in an attempt to never make anyone upset about anything.”
The group doesn’t base its list on any specific polling. And the authors don’t offer specific counter recommendations for these terms. But they do outline the values their vision of the party includes.
“We will never abandon our values or stop doing things to protect those who need help, encouragement, trust, a second chance, acceptance, a fair shake, and the opportunity to pursue life, liberty and happiness But as the catastrophe of Trump 2.0 has shown, the most important thing we can do for those people and causes is to build a bigger army to fight them,” the memo reads. “Communicating in authentic ways that welcome rather than drive voters away would be a good start.”
It’s worth noting that in certain parts of the country, a lot of people, especially now, do talk in this language and use the phrases Third Way recommends against, even if it doesn’t scream big tent enough. It’s also worth noting an inherent irony in all of this: it’s hard to police how politicians talk at the same time that you’re asking them to be authentic.
The memo’s authors write “we are not out to police language, ban phrases or create our own form of censorship. Truth be told, we have published papers that have used some of these words as well. But when policymakers are public-facing, the language we use must invite, not repel; start a conversation, not end it; provide clarity, not confusion.”
“The Democratic Party brand is toxic across the country at this point with way too many people — enough that there’s no way for us to win a governing majority without changing that,” Erickson said. “Part of the problem was that we were using words that literally no normal people used — that we were sticking to messages that were so overly scripted that they basically sounded like nothing.”
