Well I am quite happy with this, another PB but damn I miscounted my laps 
. I thought I’d finally managed 2km - close, but no cigar. I’m not unhappy though, I’m closing in on it.
I also feel a lot better for the movement & the water, the arm doesn’t ache now & the headachy feeling is gone. I’m just a bit tired

I just went to the doctor to get my stitches removed and gave him a good laugh. I told him that I got my COVID booster yesterday and it dramatically reduced the pain of my frozen shoulder. Fresh vax booster today for COVID and flu. Feeling pretty good, but sore arm as per the usual. Kudos to the pharmacist who performed my double jab. They were smooth and efficient. I barely felt them stab me twice!
I got my Covid shot on Sunday, or more accurately it got me. Yesterday was the first day I’d ever experienced side effects from any Covid shot. Let me tell you it sucked! I knew it was side effects and I wasn’t sick, but holy moly. I only went to work because Monday is the busiest day of the week. He first few hours was horrible, then a switch flipped at 11:45 and I started feeling good again. #covidshot #covidbooster #covid

They've changed the rules. I can get a COVID vaccine because I'm Indigenous and have immune issues. Before, household members qualified. Now they don't. And yet people who qualify aren't bothering to get vaccinated and people who want to aren't being permitted. Very frustrated. The new COVID vaccines are available for high-risk people, but when I tried to book an appointment, the person on the line had no information on where I can get my booster shot. I was told I'd need to call each pharmacy to find out.
Why the hell doesn't Ontario's vaccine program have that information? I don't have the energy to call every pharmacy in the Waterloo region. How is this acceptable? The healthcare around here is a total joke, and not a funny one.

Edit: I have found that only Shoppers Drug Mart can do it. This is a weird monopoly and I don't like it, but at least it's available. I don't know why the Ontario COVID hotline doesn't have this information. What a clusterfuck. Link in the comments.

Ich befürchte, ich kann das vermeintliche Rätsel auflösen:
Ein Hausarzt berichtete mir, dass er außerhalb der klaren Zielgruppenempfehlung der #STIKO am #RKI nur gegegen Unterschrift auf eigenes Risiko impfen, da er ansonsten für etwaige Impfschäden hafte. Kann ich verstehen. Zudem scheint es zumindest in den USA nur eine #Notfallzulassung zu geben.
Der Fehler liegt somit bei der Bundesregierung: es müsste eine Staatshaftung dafür geben.
Just found out by chance that NHS England has dropped the age at which we can get the Covid booster.
I now qualify, and am booked in.

Apart from the fact that the actual consultation ended up almost 30 minutes late (during which time I had to stand around in the poorly-ventilated store), the vaccine itself was administered in a tiny room by someone not wearing a mask.
It's obscene that *by far* the most risky thing I've done this year should be whilst trying to improve my protection against #Covid.
P. S. We found out she can't get her new #CovidBooster until she turns 12. 
Mein Arzt besteht auf 12monatigem Abstand für den COVID-Booster. Dann müsste ich noch bis Ende Oktober warten.
Er hält sich halt streng an die StiKo, und ich weiß nicht, ob ich mir für sechs Wochen jetzt den Stress machen soll, woanders hinzugehen. Eigentlich würde ich einen halbjährlich Booster bevorzugen.

Just did flu vaccine and covid booster. Good to see a constant stream of people coming in for their vaccines.
The vaccinator was careful to explain everything, especially that the covid booster was an update to cover the new strains circulating
Also good to surprise the vaccinator by being one of those oddballs who insists on watching the needle go in
