Very frustrated. The new COVID vaccines are available for high-risk people, but when I tried to book an appointment, the person on the line had no information on where I can get my booster shot. I was told I'd need to call each pharmacy to find out.
Why the hell doesn't Ontario's vaccine program have that information? I don't have the energy to call every pharmacy in the Waterloo region. How is this acceptable? The healthcare around here is a total joke, and not a funny one.
Does anyone know what pharmacies might have the new vaccine yet? I already have long COVID, and I know a lot of people who've recently caught COVID. I do NOT want to get infected again. My quality of life will take another dive. https://www.ontario.ca/page/covid-19-vaccines#section-6
Edit: I have found that only Shoppers Drug Mart can do it. This is a weird monopoly and I don't like it, but at least it's available. I don't know why the Ontario COVID hotline doesn't have this information. What a clusterfuck. Link in the comments.
