Apple Notes collapsed headers freaking out when I type on a single line.
I like #AppleNotes collapsing sections but formatting in general in Apple Notes feels clunky and weird. In an era of "markdown is everywhere" I wish we could use MD in Notes and do away with some of this madness.

I’ve been migrating my note taking from Apple Notes to #Obsidian (well, to #markdown using Obsidian as the editor/manager). In doing so, as I’ve deleted stuff from #AppleNotes, I’m reminded how shockingly bad its syncing is. You’d think it would be one thing it would be excellent at. It isn’t.
Is it to much of an ask to have Apple Notes to support Markdown?!

The family computer needs replacing. I thought I would move away from Apple. However, my wife and son would like to stay within the Apple ecosystem. Here's what I have come up with so far.
Obviously, the prices and hardware could change by the time I make the purchase.
So, I have been looking for a new notes app to replace #orgmode for years. I tried #obsidian and liked it enough, but it seemed fiddly. I like #applenotes enough, but it doesn't directly support markdown.
I am liking #AnyType. I have built a workable system over the past few weeks, and it's really hasn't let me down. Other than I can't figure out where the #API is.
#AppleNotes really needs native Markdown support. Been trying to get a markdown url link to append into an Apple Note corectly without success. Same shortcut to put it into a Craft note took less than 2 minutes and it just works...

I’m considering moving to Obsidian over Apple notes
I really just want to write in markdown, it’s easier that way
Kolejną rzeczą, jaka w #AppleNotes jest genialnie rozwiązana to Smart Folders! Można by było to jeszcze rozbudować, ale i tak jest nieźle. Bardzo łatwo można stworzyć zautomatyzowany system organizacji notatek.
Bardzo mi jednak brakuje dwóch rzeczy:
- Markdown (nie lubię wyklikiwać myszką formatowania tekstu, tak wiem, że są skróty klawiszowe)
- szablony (żebym nie musiał wpisywać tych samych rzeczy wielokrotnie, chociaż to po części da się rozwiązać za pomocą #AppleShortcuts)
#AppleNotes jest w jednej kwestii lepsze, niż jakakolwiek inna aplikacja do notatek, jaką testowałem:
- łatwość i szybkość przechwytywania informacji!
Nie dość, że zawsze wyświetla się gdzieś na początku Share Sheet, to jeszcze można do niej po prostu przeciągnąć konkretny element, jak załącznik czy email. Genialne!
Bardzo mi tego brakuje chociażby w #Obsidian, gdzie trzeba spędzić naprawdę długie godziny, żeby wszystko poprawnie skonfigurować, a i tak nie zawsze działa.
An update to my original “How I Journal” post from last year using #AppleNotes, #DraftsApp, and #Shortcuts. I updated the screen shots and included my new Shortcut that adds photos and screenshots directly into my daily #Journal note.
Does anyone know what the #URLscheme is for an #AppleNotes folder, rather than an individual note? Is there such a thing?
Folders? Tags? Links?

Toying with the idea of migrating to #Obsidian. I've imported a couple notebooks from #Evernote to #AppleNotes, but I have 2 years of data on Notion that can't be imported there. Also, Apple Notes on Windows via iCloud web interface does not handle images. Most of my work note-taking involves screenshots.
