Imagine an addon in Blender that let's you rename all the children of a selected Collection such that:

somename -> somename--noimp

(And perhaps the other way too:)
somename--noimp -> somename

This would be a nice way to control when you want stuff in a collection to NOT appear in Godot, but don't have the time to manually rename everything.

Any clues how to write this?

Maybe a right-click menu on the collection in the Outliner?

I just released a new version of my Blender add-on Flatterer. It's my go-to tool for my laser cutter projects.

It has a bunch of fixes, and some quite useful operators for adding boolean operators (cut selected out of active, and cut active out of selected objects).
