I previously posted about this little hummingbird that has made a nest in my backyard patio for the third year in a row. And since I don’t have my dad to share these with anymore, I decided to share with you all. I HAVE AN EXCITING UPDATE!! Rosie Pearl’s babies have hatched!! Meet the little twins—with eggshell still in their tiny feathers.

Rosie is being a good mom and making sure to keep them feed. Both pictures are of her feeding them.

Third year in a row that this little hummingbird has made a nest in my back patio light. I used to share these pictures with my dad. This is the first year I don’t have him to share these moments with and it breaks my heart. So I will share with you all. This is Rosie Pearl and her babies.

The demolition crew is on a worm break. So far no one has been able to salvage the string, although everyone tries. It must be really woven into the superstructure. They may have to call in a specialist.

Your Fault
If you leave a cushion outside, I shred it and build a nest.
You would have blamed the squirrels but unfortunately you caught me in the act.

This is a photo of a Magpie pulling stuffing our of a cushion which was left outside. The cushion is blue and white. The Magpie has some of the stuffing in her beak. Quite clever bird. Unfortunate for my cushion.
