I think Salmon, Son and Ritchie's imposing 1860s Instititue for the Deaf and Dumb on Prospecthill Road is probably my favourite Gothic style building on Glasgow's Southside.
In the 2000s, it was converted into residential flats. However, it remains one of the best examples of French Gothic architecture in Glasgow.
The imposing French Gothic style Glasgow Institute for the Deaf and Dumb. Founded in 1820, the institute moved from its original location on Parson Street to this location on Prospecthill Road in the 1860s. The building itself was designed by Salmon, Son and Ritchie could accommodate 150 pupils on the three-acre site. In the 1920s, it became Langside School for the Deaf, and later was home to Langside College.
