I know I've been a little silent and apologies to everyone I owe responses to. Things have been weird.

I volunteered at a #TDOR event last night that arranged to have lawyers on hand to do gender/name change setups. Word got around and at one point we had 500 ppl lined up around the building.

Lawyers called in reinforcements and at one point I was setting up lawyers in broom closets because we had no other space.

Run on the bank type shit. Community panic.

The children are not ok.

I'm glad the Proud Trust had a screening of the #Manchester #TDoR vigil last night in the warm, but I need to talk to them about ventilation.

With a dozen of us in a large room the CO2 levels were still through the roof. A bunch of us were wearing masks indoors, me and @bright_helpings included. It's a modern building and has an HVAC system, which was turned off.

Let's keep our #trans and #nonbinary peeps safe! #CovidIsNotOver #WearAMask

Today is the trans day of remembrance.

I will remember the friends who should be with us now but are not.

I will remember how difficult it still is for everyone who is trans, and all the things we need to fix in order to set this right.

I will remember the people fighting hard against the work to right these wrongs, and those fighting to make being trans even harder.

And I will remember that this will never be won. The fight won't end. We will have to pass it on, and remember.
