I had a good time gaming with @Nio yesterday! But I do need to apologize, as I was a bit annoyed by pain and a yapping dog... Sorry bout that!

But I made some progress with the NMS expedition, finishing up phase 3. Just two more to go!

Some quests are "easy" ones and others can be more challenging or annoying even. But I guess there needs to be some challenge.

I spent quite some time to snap a pic of at least 5 ground animals together. And then getting that rare fish was something annoying as well. The quests sound simple but with the terrain and well, loads of bad weather (and no "baby settings during expeditions), yeah... It's something you need to have some luck with, I guess.

But I got the snap and the fish! Onwards to phase 4 (and 5).

Hopefully I can play some more this week, but I do have a few appointments here and there... And, I still need to weed out my ugly gardens!

I haven't even checked the rewards of the expedition, so I hope we're getting some fun things.

Barney was very critical of my battle skills during the morning's dogfight. I believe his exact words were "If thees ees how de dog fights I'm almozt sorry for heem." Jumped into the NMS Relics Expedition last night. Sort of nice change from the "new" (has 20 hours on it already lol) permadeath abandoned universe save I started. I say sort of because it's the first day so EVERYONE showed up. Couldn't even find my ship at the start because there were 3 sitting on top of each other

Got to the first NPC you need to talk to and some jackass had removed all the terrain from underneath him. Just had to restore it to be able to get close enough to talk to him but yeah, people suck. Still, I'm absolutely digging the entire paleontology thread of this Expedition. Definitely enhanced by playing in VR.

Owwwww I woke up to the news of the new update for No Man's Sky.

And while the new features look awesome, the last mention on the update page had me mksh excited!

As it is something I've been struggling with since I stated playing the game... Navigation!

So I was very excited when I saw the news of the improved navigation mode... Fingers crossed that it will work well.

Today and tomorrow will be busy days but I hope that this weekend, I get to grab the update and play it! It's been a while since I played NMS...

A chat last night in the No Man's Sky Discord, folks tipping their hats to Hello Games for the incredible NMS comeback story, was -interrupted- by Sean Murray dropping an incoming update emoji, out of nowhere. Another (free) update is imminent!

This pretty much sums up the No Man's Sky experience over the past nine years.

I've been playing some of the No Man's Sky expedition Titan yesterday with @Nio. It was fun and I hope to play some more today.

I finished the first phase and started on the second before I had to go offline. So hopefully I can finish the second phase today and see about starting the next one, depending how it goes.

I hope I'll be able to finish the expedition on a few weeks so that I can get back to playing some more Lego Star Wars again. But the expeditions have nice rewards and I do like to get those...
