When I think about Magnus Hirschfeld's research on #trans #healthcare, I think about the fact that it was 90 years ago. Imagine what we could've had by now if trans people had been a priority in #MedicalResearch for all of those 90 years. The Nazis didn't just take Hirschfeld's research away from us, but also everything that could've developed from it since. Maybe someday our descendants will have what we should've had now, but we have to #imagine and fight for it first, and defend what we have.

can animals photosynthesise? musican moglii told me about the leaf slug. like the sea slug it gets energy by doing photosynthesia! i thought only plants can convert water, minerals and sunlight into glucose and oxygen.. to find out that also the spotted salamander and the pea aphid have symbiotic relationship with algae to do kleptoplasty (that is how scientist call the process of stealing the photosynthetic organelles (chloroplasts) from the algae) made me jealous. if i could choose a superpower this kleptoplasty would come straight after being invisible.

#Imagine a blank slate restart of human society. now skip forward 1000 yrs to a world where every disease is automatically cured before it becomes something we even notice, where no one grows old and dies but all remain young, any wound will heal, where death is optional not a given.
