Monday - Marathon Day, from #hopkinton to #Boston, the 129th one. Expect traffic and confused out-of-towners, be kind and patient if you can.

If you’re an out of towner visiting for the race, seriously, welcome. Locals may come off as reserved or surly but if you have a problem, wow, do we have your back.

If you give us a chance to extend to you kindness, we’ll exceed expectations.

Assuming you’re not doing something so stupid like wearing a cap saying Yankees or maga, oof, then you’ll get no love.

Sat-Mon - Arlington MA Patriots’ Day weekend - events including a re-enactment of the Battle of Metonomy, on Mass Ave (great time, historical costuming, bring a chair if you want - they shut down the street, redcoats muster at a gas station, its loud and smokey. There's muskets fired, so leave fido at home)
