You can prove your identity on Mastodon with the KBFS, like so, if you care to: keybase.pub/todb/README.txt

@todb Since anyone can post that link, how does it function as a proof?

@datawench Well, the content says that I am me. Only I (or someone with my private key) can write to keybase.pub/todb , so if you believe that keybase.io/todb is who he says he is, then the assertion that he is also todb@mastodon.xyz should hold true.

I suppose someone could post that same link, but it wouldn't come from todb@mastodon.xyz. It would come from somewhere else.
