If a reply is unread, and the thread is contracted, there is no visual indication of where the unread is.
Anyone got a tip?
@douginamug turn off the threaded view: "Toggle message threads", or "Message list display options --> sort by --> unthreaded".
@eliasr @j12i @nemobis Thank you for helping me on this one! Looking for underlines + typing "n" were very useful.
Perhaps you have more Thunderbird advice for me
I don't see my replies to messages. Searching through Sent box, annoying. I tried the "Thunderbird Conversations" plugin, but it makes a lot of UI changes, when all I want is to see my replies threaded like other replies.
@douginamug I'd like to know that too… I help myself with right-click → open message in conversation. I guess the real fix would be to tell thunderbird to put your sent messages in your inbox (or wherever the message you're replying to is).
@j12i that's already pretty damn helpful, thanks!
@douginamug Yeah so this is tricky but what you *might* want is to copy your answer in the same folder, which is something controlled (IIRC) in the composition settings.
