Today, the wife and I went to Kanazawaya (金澤屋), a bedding store in Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture. They have been in this business since 1836, and their experience (and a round of test-sleeping) helped us to find some nice new things today. A few impressions from the shop that is located in a beautiful old building.

Day trip to Takasaki (Part 3)

Last Saturday we went to Takasaki, the largest city in Gunma Prefecture. Here is a set of unprocessed, out-of-camera photos from the third stop, Tokumeien Garden. We came at a good time to enjoy a fine display of seasonal colors. The last photo was taken from the veranda of the garden's central residence, where we had green tea and sweets.
