Chipper

I really think that chipmunks are fantastic little animals. I'm not sure why, maybe because of how cute they are. I found this one on a trail near Lake Tahoe.
I like the background in this image. I chose a wide aperture for this image to blur the background that happened to be a large redwood. I just thought that the contrast between big and small was fitting for this.

Chipper This is an image of a chipmunk that I came across as I was hiking in the Tahoe area. The lower part of the image is a large root that was laying on the edge of a hill. The root is twisted and turning. The furry little chipmunk sits near a burl that has much of the bark torn off. The background is of a large redwood.
