"Wish Defense" by FACS is an album right up our alley in tone and style, and it also happens to be the last album engineered by the legendary Steve Albini, so it's doubly special. Our #SongoftheDay is "Sometimes Only".

Our #SongOfTheDay comes from Romanian producer Plevna (Horațiu Şerbǎnescu). Part of a Bucharest scene that embraces non-Western influences on their region's music in a thoroughly modern way, his "Djem" delivers haunting melodies helped on by singer/rapper/producer Suce Fraga.

"Wedding Song No. 3" by Aerial M, one of post-rock pioneer David Pajo's many pseudonyms, is #SongOfTheDay. Lovely simplicity on the surface, but plenty of sometimes discordant subtleties to keep it interesting.

Don't let the title of our #SongOfTheDay fool you. "Drone" by Mariko Goto (of Midori fame) is anything but, lurching from anthemic pop to indie rock to free-for-all jamming, Goto's distinct voice throughout.
