Wtf kind if black magic is going on in this Kobo Glo? I added books 8 through 12 with the series name "Pay-Changeling", and it seems to have fuzzy matched that to the pre-existing files with obnoxious metadata (series name: "A Psy-Changeling Novel"), which is honestly kinda convenient, but I have it sorted by book number, and the order is somehow 7, 10, 8, 9, 11, 12? And what the series field says doesn't seem to be a factor?
Okay wait... I deleted the #12 I added because there was already a Kodo ePub of it, so it seems "A Psy-Changeling Novel" is the series name when purchased from Kobo. It also seems that "Psy-Changeling Novel, A" is the actual string from the purchased copy of #7. I just assumed the reader itself was doing that
. So its sorting by book number numerically, but only after sorting by series name... in reverse alphabetical order!? All of this in spite of the fact that it correctly assumed that these different strings all refer to the same series? I hate everyone and everything (these are my s/o's books, but I've become fully invested in properly formatting every import lmao. I'm about to replace these purchased copies with downloads from libgen and edit the metadata in Calibre to make it all make sense
).
