It's not just that Midjourney #AI #imageGenerator used artworks of Blek le Rat & Shepard Fairey #Obey only, without their consent in pre-training aka preparation of #copyright violations on a massive scale.

At least the Midjourney situation isn't as bad for @art works of Rosalyn #Drexler, #Banksy and our #gfkDSGN as it is for:
Andy #Warhol, HR #Giger, Herman #Zapf, Paul #Klee & #Cezanne, Piet #Mondrian, MC #Escher, Roy #Lichtenstein, Tom #Wesselmann, Wassily #Kandinsky and even companies like #StudioGhibli

However, I would love to read what #FediArt followers and other #Artists are thinking about this development.

@maddad @LaNaehForaday @Strandjunker Stepping away from #politics to look at #AI. Notice that all the #GenerativeAI #ImageGenerator #tech nearly always depicts the previous president wearing a collared shirt and tie, even when it doesn't make sense in context of the prompt.

This demonstrates how imbalanced and biased #ArtificialIntelligence #training #data skews generated #content. Now think about the dataset used to train #LLM ... it is as biased as everything #humans post on the #internet.
