Now at Version 4.3.1 with lots of work done to resemble the response of my hardware unit more closely. I like the organic wobbly character it offers. I also really like using #DavinciResolve for my demo videos (I can drop in a nice high quality WAV audio file and not get the hideous aliasing that happens when I use my screen capture tools).

Gonna be great for more #BonkWave and the next release of the Four Seasons of Bonkwave!

Dang it. I was gonna order an Intel ARC B580 LE this weekend, but now the ARC Pro B50 is an option and I’m not sure what to get.

It’s not like I’m a gamer, but if my system allowed it, I might.

Focus is gonna be on Blender, Davinci Resolve, and some AI experimentation, all in Linux of course.

I know the spec difference, core counts, bus speeds, etc. not many reviews comparing the two as they are different classes of cards.

I think my system is really the current limiter being a 10th gen Intel i7 with PCI express v3, but the card can go into my next system as well.

Suggestions? Input? Things to consider or think about?

I used #DaVinciResolve to edit my latest YouTube Video. Before that, I used #kdenlive - and even before that, #camtasia. Some quick thoughts...

I'm not an expert in video editing, just someone who wants to upload videos to YouTube. I really liked camtasia because it is simple yet powerful, and I knew it well enough so that it didn't get in my way anymore. But there is no #linux version, which is a deal breaker for me now.

KDEnlive is a great piece of software, especially for... [1/]

So I'm on a journey to push #Kdenlive as a feasible alternative to commercial counterparts.

The journey starts with learning and transferring what I know from #AdobePremiere and #DaVinciResolve.

At first it was just to easily and quickly cut some #videos, but I started seeing the possibilities.

So now I'm going to use it for several professional projects I have coming up and showing it to those involved.

"Why pay monthly for #Adobe when this does all you need it to do?"

Trying to figure out why encoding speed is so damn slow, but yeah, 6k #BRAW prosessing on this laptop is sloooooooow. Optimized media helps, a lot, but uses a ridiculous amout of disk for any kind of decent quality. Using #prores 422 help even more. I don't really need 6k, but for some existing projects not much I can do. #DaVinciResolve

Please be gentle but I just shared my first project on #github I really want to see a #flatpak future for #DavinciResolve living on #Flathub or #bazaar Until then I'm working on a suite of add-ons specifically trying to transform #blender VSE to more closely resemble Resolve. My 1st effort is making a media browser to create bins and organize assets. Feedback & contributions are most welcome.

DaVinci Resolve is a Free (thought not open source) video editing solution. It's in many ways superior to Adobe Premiere Pro and even large swaths of Hollywood Studios are using it these days.
if you are interested in Video Editing, it might be worth your time to check it out.
