He was very impressed at the speed most electric-type Pokémon would attack their opponents, which inspired him to become a trainer in his free time. Some time later he has become the Gym Leader, specializing not only in just the electric type, but also all his Pokémon have high speed stats.

Those who defeat him receive a Loop Badge, which makes all Pokémon at level 30 and up obey all commands, even if they came from trades.

He is the main antagonist and the head of Kamer Nul (院0 - Chamber Zero).
His main goal is to use the power of legendary Pokémon in order to gain worldwide support and to wipe out all the people and Pokémon alike that he deems "undesirable" in his new, "pure and beautiful" world where everyone "follows the etiquette".

Nul is rarely seen in the public, and has his own spokespeople who recruit new people to his group.

They are siblings who moved from a distant place to Inferie region in order to study new Pokémon species.
