Not only 25 million in salary, but additional stock compensation equal to their salaries. All of the c-suite at #UHC have compensation packages above $10 million per year.

The murdered CEO and other high-ranking personnel of the healthcare giant are accused of executing a large number of massive insider UNH stock sales when faced with a DoJ probe over supposed anti-competitive practices, as reported by the Wall Street Journal in February.

Publicly available data, as retrieved by Finbold on December 6 from SecForm4, indeed shows common stock sales made by high-ranking executives between October 2023 – the start of the relevant period for the class action – and press time.

In total, the senior officers offloaded approximately 228,000 #UHN shares. Thompson personally made $15 million in insider trades this year.

The data of about 26,000 patients at one of Canada's largest hospital networks may have been copied by malicious actor in June of this year.

Earlier this month, #Toronto's University Health Network sent out notices to an unknown number of people that a database that tracks the electronic referrals to Toronto Western Hospital's orthopedic clinic was left exposed.

The database included the names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, sex, medical assessments and patients’ provincial health insurance numbers.
