@benroyce
I will consistently vote for "Less Evil"

If people want to whine about "both sides have problems" and ride a couch instead of voting for "Less Evil"... not sure how to help them.

If people are dissatisfied with the parties, take a look at Working Families Party, who have been working to bring more Progressive choices into Democratic primaries since 1998 (longer if you count NY "Liberal Party").

You still should not vote for any #ThirdParty in the general elections, but some third parties are getting it right. Show up and vote for Less Evil, and if you want to do more, join #WFP, join #Indivisible, go march, go run for something. If you're riding the couch you're part of the problem.

So enough of that of "We must work inside the #DemocraticParty and not a #ThirdParty" shit!

The only reason why #ThirdParties can't win is because you all refuse to support them & passively accept the established order and do nothing to fight for the alternative.

Third-parties can win #elections & have done so in the past.

You think Third-parties in #LatinAmerica didn't have these troubles in the past? Of course they did cos they challenged the system which excluded Third-party Options!

People like #KyleKulinski are comfy where they're at as they make money from YouTube, Book deals, social commentaries, etc. while telling people to #vote for the people who allowed a horrific destruction on the Oct 7th and who literally sold us out 2 times recently and for over 5 decades when the #Democrats oversaw the rising threat of #fascism.

Honestly I think he'll be with those who do a #RosaLuxemberg assassination 2.0 when real discussions for true alternatives rise up like a #ThirdParty.

3rd parties have never succeeded in the US. My take? Trying to create a party from the top down simply does not work. Don't just show up every 4 years trying to elect a 3rd party president.
Grassroots is the only way to create a viable party. It's hard, often thankless work. Be prepared to lose and lose again, yet still go on. It takes courage, persistence, and a focus on the long view. Now's the time.

@QasimRashid

I wish I could find a way to disagree with you, I can't.

#DNC needs new leadership or the US needs a viable #ThirdParty.

I'd say that soon there will be enough disaffected #Democrats and #Republicans to constitute one.

I realize the #Libertarian & #Green parties are out there but they have not garnered enough belief to really move the needle.

All I can say for sure is that #wethepeopleoftheunitedstates have allowed #Trump back in power and we need to fix that at the ballotbox.

@monk @Daojoan

Americans do not choose to have only two parties. Our PACs, media, and billionaires choose that for us. #CitizenUnited cements the fact that our choices are binary.

A few places (such as in Alaska) are allowing #RankedChoiceVoting as a path for other parties, but in the end (even there)... We are still dominated by the two parties.

Long, expensive campaigns for Congress and the WH mean that big money needs to back candidates. Big money means one of the two major parties MUST back you financially.

#ThirdParty candidates have almost always been spoilers for the Democrats' success and helped Republicans.

Tell us how to get corruption, big money and billionaires out of our system, and how to convince our corrupt politicians to get rid of the same #CitizensUnited that profitd them... THEN maybe we could have more parties.

Until such time as we can magically make that happen, we will have only two choices.

Is U Doin' Bui'ness?
