A nighty night jam: a tune that will always remind me of radio/TV broadcast school at Brown Institute in Minneapolis during 1983. It was one of the tunes I used on my final audition tape I produced before I graduated. Minneapolis was such a cool place to be then.

One of those bands I became aware of while doing the broadcast school thing in Minneapolis during 1983; I scurried (as quickly as a route 7 bus could get me downtown) to a Hennepin Avenue record store (which also doubled as a head shop and where I also picked up a slightly used copy of The Sweet’s “Desolation Boulevard”) and picked up a copy of this album. The guitar work on this tune kicks.

I first heard this as an 18 year old attending broadcast school in Minneapolis in 1983 and picked up a copy of the album at a record store (remember those?) downtown one day. I’d play this track at my first radio job in Nebraska in ‘84 and it ended being one of the more requested tunes during my time there. The guitar work is actually pretty good.
