#Russki_SIGINT longread is now out, gentlemen and it caused quite a stir, as the notorious Russian spy satellite Olymp-K2 suddenly came drifting into the segment of our research [0° to 15° east] . Special sort of #SIGINT sat performing dangerously close approaches to intercept the satellite bus *steering commands* of the Eutelsat teleports. All sat targets of the Vienna station included.

While I'm no longer in the IC and can't confirm my suspicions, I simply don't think it's that plausible that everything is flowing as normal in Five Eyes. I can see why people would *say* it is. Whilst I am not a fan of #AI which I think will in the long run, will be detrimental to humans, I am far from the "AI Slop" luddites.
But when #deepseek killed their web login a few days back. I was extremely sceptical of loading the app on my device.

Tuning the local KiwiSDR and found this interesting signal at 6942.347 USB give or take - a little bit of research on the Signal ID Wiki convinced me that it's "Link-11" or "ALLIGATOR" or "STANAG 5511".

On the Signal ID wiki, specifically Link-11 CLEW at 2250 bit/s, described as PSK modulation.

None of these 3 large dishes is active. Same with dish 4 in the back, this one is for the Ku band. Dish 1,2 and 4 are equipped with skew angle gear & motors to squint into downlinks.
C-Band modules - LNCs, filters & c - are all from Nortel Canada. The Ku band modules are from Swedish Microwave.
Vienna is by far the largest and one of the few remaining #SIGINT stations in EU on Russki embassies.

And meanwhile we have sort of re-engineered three of these four-meter dishes and identified their targets. All three are C-band dishes and there are not that many C-band sats around any more in the segment from Greenwich to 15°.

Ah ok, different network., rremember. As you mentioned thíngs going unnoticed in plain sight. Everybody passing by the Russian embassy to the UN in Vienna could see 4 large dishes on top. Nobody cared what they might be doing there for years .
Late in 2022 we shot the roof with zooms & sent a drone up. Voilà: a full blown #SIGiNT station with a dozen dishes. And the NSA watching them from their "stateroom" hut above the nearby US embassy to the UN.
