The best synthesis that exists is the UN's sustainable development goals #sdg but it has the combination of generalist thinking and bureaucratic aura that doesnt resonate with "edgy" and "revolutionary" #solarpunk 😂

In any case while more detailed roadmap it still suffers from lack of real definition of what we *really* want, in the sense of how it would actually work and what steps to get there. What we absolutely must banish and how it will be replaced etc.

1. Die großen Kritiker sehen Open Source dann als nicht gegeben an, wenn kommerzielle Nutzung oder militärische Nutzung, einschränkt.

Grundsätzlich kann man als Autor der Software in die Lizenz reinschreiben was man will. Der Freiraum in Open ist allerdings, dass sowohl private als auch kommerzielle Nutzung gewährleistet ist.

2. Durch das Hin und Her von freien und unfreien Produkten kommt ja erst das Problem, dass man zu sehr darauf fixiert ist, Lizenzen zu lesen anstatt neue Produkte zu entwickeln.

Am Ende ist das Ziel alle Einschränkungen raus zu nehmen.

@nele Wenn der Verwendungszweck eingeschränkt wird, oder bestimmte Personen oder Gruppen ausgeschlossen werden, ist es formal kein #OpenSource mehr.

Aber "Open Source" an sich ist ja weder Selbstzweck noch Qualitätskriterium.

Man kann (z.B. als Entwickler:in oder Geldgeber:in) auch eine andere Lizenz festlegen und #SDG darin festschreiben. Aber die Frage sollte doch eher sein: Ist das Sinnvoll oder gäbe es andere/bessere Möglichkeiten als eine Lizenzeinschränkung?

@yrochat J’imagine que si l’OFS faisait moins des statistiques de gauchistes comme:
👉sur l’état dé l’environnement en 🇨🇭
👉sur les objectifs de durabilité #SDG
👉sur l’évolution de la population future (ouh mon dieu le scandale, une 🇨🇭 à 10 millions d’habitants en 2050)
Ils auraient moins de pression sur leur budget.

Ich brauche mal Eure Schwarmintelligenz zu #OpenSource und #OER Fragen, die gestern bei #weareopen aufploppten:

1. Stimmt es, dass es 'offene' (Software)-Lizenzen gibt, die bestimmte Bereiche ausschließen - zum Beispiel eine militärische Nutzung?
2. Was haltet ihr von der Idee einer Lizenz, die Weiternutzung an die Einhaltung der #SDG koppelt? (Eigentlich ein fundamentaler Widerspruch zu Offenheit, aber vielleicht aus Perspektive #Nachhaltigkeit hilfreich?)

Das 4. Nachhaltigkeitsziel (#SDG) der #UN lautet "Hochwertige Bildung" und fordert inklusive, gerechte und qualitätvolle Bildung sowie Möglichkeiten des lebenslangen Lernens für alle.
Zwar sind die Vorteile von #OER in der Theorie damit verknüpft, doch offiziell werden sie in den SDGs nicht explizit genannt.❌
