Two more templates for my project #Wiki that arose as I realized I needed them; one for articles about ongoing stories and another for articles about stories or lore that only apply to previous versions.

The Ongoing Story template features Katsumi because he is a TV show host and telling the audiences to “stay tuned” seems in-character for him.

The Previous Version template shows Damien looking through code in a program, alluding to his previous job. This template also shows the first glimpse of the outfit he will be wearing as of “I Was a Software Developer…”

I published a tentative version of the Skillset article for my project #Wiki:

I’m not entirely confident with this but it’s a crucial part of the #Worldbuilding in the setting and I need to keep tweaking this and finalize the details in it before I can confidently write articles for characters.

The parameter I filled out on the “Details Not Finalized” template shows there’s a lot to still be decided on 😅

With this, I included a color #Sketch of Prima that shows more of her redesigned outfit which is meant to look more like a cyclist’s outfit and it shows how annoyed she’d be looking at a published script with so many uncertain details.

Hello #Fediverse, here’s today’s daily OS-tan!

This one is of Neptune-tan, a OS-tan of Windows Neptune, the canceled Windows version. Neptune-tan is often depicted as a strong and fierce character, sometimes shown wielding large weapons and surrounded by friends like Windows 97, Odyssey, Moseko, and various designs of Longhorn.

She wears a black, sleeveless qipao with blue accents and red bracelets, a red talisman is on her collar and she has mechanical headpieces that give her a slightly futuristic vibe. Her long, green pigtails are usually accompanied by a red visor which has become one of her most recognisable features.

Several of her artworks were created by an artist known as イオンのバイド (Ion no Baido) on Pixiv such as the first image shown, though it’s believed they did not originate her concept due to differing art styles.

(2/?) New bios have been added for the characters that were introduced in the second part of “System Time Reset, Or Is It Time Travel?!”

Antares represents Macintosh System 6, Janice represents Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar and 10.3 Panther, and Terrell represents Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Since each of these characters represent OSes I’ve used, I based them a bit on my own experiences.

These include how Tiger still has some of the best user experiences for me, Jaguar and Panther are a lot easier to navigate than Puma. I think Panther was also great and another of the best OSes I’ve used from experience.

Although I think System 6 is another of the best OSes I’ve used from experience particularly for writing with, I was caught off-guard by how unintuitive Macro Maker is to set up and the lack of on-screen help since I don’t have the manual 😭

I resumed writing for “I Was a Software Developer…” and continued the draft I had for chapter 9 and started one for chapter 10. It’s the #Webnovel I mentioned the most about this project.

This #Sketch is of Piper that’s part of an illustration for this chapter of her and two of her teammates in gowns which they’re wearing for an upcoming party. I’m still finishing up the designs for each of their gowns; each will have space age fashion elements to them.

I had put this chapter on hold for months since I got stuck on writing part of it and the next one that I decided to put it on hold and focus on many other things.

It would’ve introduced a few more characters and I had a clear idea for how they'd appear in the chapter, but I struggled with writing the dialogue so I might skip them.

However, I found another way to focus on a challenge that happens in chapter 9 that is simpler but gives me room to write about it! I used this to move forward continuing the chapter and I’m excited to get past another thing that I had been stuck on.

#Sketches of semi-final designs for two of the characters to be featured in “System Time Reset…”. I drew these in Freeform and made some corrections in Krita.

Fiore represents iPhone 4, and her time in the limelight is just about to start in this story. The outfit she’s wearing in this drawing is her debut outfit.

Ruby Moonflower represents Mac OS 9 and she’s a hippie who likes flower power aesthetics due to the Flower Power iMac design.

She’s also a psychedelic rock musician. Although her time in the limelight ended, she kept a very dedicated following that overshadowed at least one of her successors.

Operating Superstars intro — Teodóra Brodbeck

Teodóra represents the Commodore 264 line (C16, C116 and Plus/4). Her time in the limelight had a difficult start but she could get vindicated in entertainment. She is a painter that also had prior experience in business before she became an Operating Superstar; she previously ran a successful bakery.

When she became the new host of a show Ready Fleet ran, her performances were derided by many of her more popular teammates' fans but she gained an unexpected success after the show began airing in other sectors. She is friendly, polite and helpful and good at managing social situations.

Hello #Fediverse, here's your "daily" OS-tan art and the first of my reworked daily OS-tan posts!

This one is of Windows Me-tan!

Also known as Emui, Me-tan is the original OS-tan from the Futaba Channel, depicting Windows Millennium Edition. With her green pigtails and clumsy demeanor, she has become one of the most beloved OS-tans.

Back in 2003, the anthropomorphic character craze was at its peak in Japan and the anonymous bulletin board community was heavily influenced by this trend. Me-tan was created in Futaba on August 6, 2003, though some believe she first appeared in July of the same year.

Portrayed as a clumsy yet cheerful maid, Me-tan is often depicted as a lovable “natural idiot” who humorously fails to defrag, puts fried noodles in the sink, and microwaves coke.
