so, i haven't been a fan of public registration in general for a while now. only reason i opened anime.website back up was due to the #niu shutdown news (btw, youre welcome to join here if youre looking for another instance / recommend this instance if you know someone who needs a new home)

might lock back up to invite-only if this keeps up. the spam i get mostly comes from tor now (had some indian spam for a bit but it's seemed to stop) and im definitely not barring access to tor. last thing i want to do, because i personally use tor, and i'd effectively be locking myself out of my own instance

so yeah, considering going back to invite-only, because it would mean i could back to virtually not moderating my users, which is always nice

on this note, has pleroma a facility yet to allow users to create invites, not only admins? that would be useful
