Fast Charlie (2023)

The story is standard fare without much accoutrements, but the two leads make it work. Pierce Brosnan is as charming as ever. Morena Baccarin is also great. Brosnan pulls off some of the lines with a wry sense of humor that was entertaining.

There are bursts of violence scattered throughout a dialogue heavy movie -- with some really great lines performed with spotty Southern accents.

This was an entertaining movie.

Right after the nightmare that happened in January, I decided to take a trip back to the 80's and rewatch "The Americans". I just finished the final episode.

While I do highly, highly recommend it to just about anyone, there are groups of people that it will hit harder than others. It's a show about loyalty to one's ideas. Our ideas about country, family, religion, parenting, friendship, and the American way.

It can also be a very violent show so I'm sure that's not for everyone. But, if you need an escape back to what seemed to be a simpler time, there is so much to love about the show. The acting is incredible. The music cues are spot on. The 80's tech and cars are perfect. It also has one of the best TV series finales that I've seen.

Be careful if you decide to watch an episode. You may just need to watch some more.

#Disney is making the season 1 of #Andor available to #StarWars fans ahead of the show's Season 2 return. The live-action Star Wars prequel is now available to stream on #Hulu and #youtube.

The entirety of Andor Season 1 is now streaming on Hulu until April 22, when Season 2 debuts exclusively on Disney+. The first 3 episodes of Andor are also available to stream on the Disney+ YouTube channel.
