Anyone else getting excited in #gaming by the upcoming #HalfLife RTX Demo? Released on March 18th

Free if you own the game on #Steam (which, let's face it...everyone does by now, right?). Redone with NVIDIA remix tools which require a raytracing GPU.

I love the new textures and assets, I'm excited for this, having only recently playing through #HalfLife2 for the first time a few months ago!

(Time for me to steel myself for the horrors of Ravenholm...it'll take awhile to be ready!)

J'ai lu les chapitres sur son enfance à Sofia en Bulgarie et sur son travail sur Half-Life 2. C'est fou de voir l'empreinte que Viktor Antonov a laissé sur ce jeu. Je n'y jouerai plus de la même façon

Spiele gerade das allererste mal die Story von #HalfLife2.
Hab jetzt 2,5 Stunden runter.

Ich finde das Konzept spannend.
Ein bisschen ballern ja, das nervt, aber sonst eine Story in der man Rätsel lösen muss und so.
Gefällt :)

Aber länger als ne Stunde am Stück will ichs nicht spielen, dazu isses mir doch zu brutal.
In Häppchen isses aber okay :)

Genau deswegen ist es gut, dass der #SourceCode frei verfügbar ist, auch wenn es in dem Fall ein Leak ist. Vor allem zeigt es aber auch, dass es möglich ist, #SourceEngine Spiele auf #ARM64 und damit auch auf #AppleSilicon zu portieren. #Valve muss es nur wollen. Es gibt bis heute keine offiziellen 64-Bit Versionen der Valve Spiele für #macOS.
