Seit 2013 arbeitet die EU-Mission zur Unterstützung des Grenzschutzes in #Libyen (#EUBAM #Libya) an der Stärkung der libyschen Behörden in.
Durchgesickerte Dokumente zeigen, dass sie in eine neue Phase eintritt, die Beziehungen zu #Frontex ausbaut und die von #EU gestützte Migrationskontrolle tiefer in die libyschen Sicherheitsstrukturen einbetten will.

#Rafah / EU considers possible border mission
EU foreign ministers will hold their monthly meeting on Monday and discuss how to improve humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza. There are suggestions that the EU might revive its European Union Border Assistance Mission (#EUBAM) Rafah, which has not been operational since 2007.

Auch die deutsche #Bundespolizei beteiligt sich in #Libyen an der EU-Mission #EUBAM. Die ist jetzt stolz, ein Ausbildungszentrum für die Grenzpolizei eröffnet zu haben. Das Geld dafür stammt aus Brüssel.
