@wzhkevin Interesting, I'm really curious to see how this evolves. In my case it went a bit differently: after doing the #DPCRAM I realized that I had "Write (more) / improve documentation" across several sections from high-level policies in governance to technical documentation. So now I feel a bit like an octopus, trying to write / ask people to write documentation & policies left and right...
(Eureka moment: I just found my #DigitalPreservation animal: the #DigiPres octopus )

@wzhkevin @mickylindlar @BertrandCaron yes, and because #DPCRAM is a maturity model for self assessment rather than a certification standard, it makes it much easier to use it in this way. As long as it is useful exercise that helps start conversations and identify opportunities for improvement then I think it is doing what it is meant to be doing

@mickylindlar @BertrandCaron Digipres is a moving target and RAM is a moving target (we plan another minor update early next year). We do find that people's scores go down as well as up as they re-evaluate targets and progress. Definitely not always a linear progression.

@BertrandCaron you are right there. Like any maturity model it can be quite a subjective process doing #DPCRAM. We hear of people getting together and doing it collaboratively with colleagues - that can work really well. Irons out some of the subjectivity as well as being great for advocacy and awareness raising. #iPRES2023

@BertrandCaron totally agree with you on that! Plus, we also had very different results doing the #DPCRAM for the BnL as a whole versus Digitized collection / Born-digital / Web Archive, because you end up taking the lower values as a common denominator #iPRES2023
