Too many of our biases direct thinking toward group think, black & white binaries. This is reinforced & amplified in social (qty) situations, including science, the media, & education.

#complementarity is a specific kind of diversity: the quality of being different but useful when combined.
Orienting a society towards complementarity means
- seeing non-hierarchical differences within a society as something generative.
- turning the focus from capital and competition toward humanity and cooperation
Regardless of a person's interests, skills, or abilities, we must all be free to labor and leisure. Basically: inclusivness++ :)

#Israel / Israel's High Court Cannot Hold Back the Legal Avalanche Against the Occupation
For too long, #Israel's legal system distorted international law norms and whitewashed crimes committed by soldiers and settlers against Palestinians through lack of accountability. The emerging "legal avalanche" against Israel from international bodies is a consequence of its judiciary insisting on enabling violations of the laws of occupation for decades.
Rather than a “judicial overhaul” planned and payed for by right-wing American Jews - many of whom support the occupation - what’s needed in Israel is a meaningful legal reform to create accountability and regain credibility in line with international standards. Otherwise, Israel's #complementarity claims will continue ringing hollow to the #ICC, among others.
