@pinhman Alberta MP Michael Cooper seems the most obvious choice because Mr & Mrs #Poilievre call him a long-time friend, but his connection to this specific immigration situation didn't seem 100% clear in the article.

Here is the aforementioned Conservative MP Cooper happily voicing his support for the #Ottawa convoy in front of a defaced Canadian flag. 😡

Canada switched to the metric system in the 1970s. I was in Grade 4ish and they bussed us to Sanford for “metric lessons”. Kilometres, centimetres. How tall am I? How much do I weigh? Feet, inches and pounds. What temperature do I bake bread? Fahrenheit. What temperature is it outside? Celsius. My point? I’m going to try to switch completely. 160 cm. 73 kilograms. 190 degrees C. #metricsystem #Canada

Stock up on toilet paper fellow US peeps. One day soon #Canada is going to decide to save its old growth forests from being wasted on US tushies & remind us our president believes in the tariff fairy to our detriment.

In response to the Trump government's attempts to enforce ideology on American research, scientists are now moving to Canada to research freely and openly. America stands to lose it's scientific dominance, to Canada's enormous benefit.

CNN · Canada warns Trump on tariffs: Retaliation is coming April 2By Max Saltman

“He represents the dark side of our nature” writes Mark Bourrie, author of the new Pierre #Poilievre biography, Ripper.

“He’s an angry teenager in the body of a grown man”

"Poilievre’s relentless hyperbolic smearing of the country’s condition – while never putting it in perspective with the global forces battering nations everywhere – made Canadians feel worse than warranted"
"He drove the mood of the country down"

Tom Mulcair: in Face-à-Face, 'you actually debate. You have to be on your toes and at the top of your game. Instead of putting the kibosh on it, it should be a model. Debating in the round, facing your opponents. Strong, real, informative.'
