Help! #Boot / #GRUB advice:

I have a relatively new laptop. Recently when rebooting it just went to the GRUB bash-like interface rather than booting.

99 times out of 100 when rebooting the laptop doesn't recognize any USB key is plugged in and goes straight to GRUB recovery. #EFI boot sees the drives EFI files though.

1 in 100 times the whole thing boots just fine from either the drive or USB key.

BIOS hard drive diagnostics says it's fine.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot?

Re-booting!

Found these in the garage last winter and they were in good shape, two pairs basically new, just covered in garage grime.

I pressure washed them inside and out and now they're spending time filled with chlorinated water to disinfect.

Then dry and ready for use.

Two pairs of rubber boots and a pair of I don't know what they're even called, rubber shoes I guess, which are the same but with short shaft. They're sitting on a paving slab outside and are filled with water to the brim.

This piece consists of ten different parts; the ships hull, a wheelhouse and eight containers. Giving endless possibilities in the setup of this lamp.

#Ventoy is a tool that allows you to #boot an #iso file directly from a #USB drive. Many people recommend it online, but most people are unaware that Ventoy modifies the installation ISO and injects #binary_blobs.

There is probably no acceptable reason to use it. I recommend that you consider all installations made with Ventoy as #tampered_with and #untrusted.

Mein Boot ist vergangenen Mittwoch abgebrannt. Das ganze fühlt sich immer noch total surreal an.

blog.dwagenk.comDas Ende der CaribiaIch habe ein Segelboot. Um es genau zu nehmen hatte ich eins und habe jetzt nur noch ein Entsorgungsproblem. Ich habe hier nie dazu geschrieben, aber ich habe mir im Spätsommer 2023 die Caribia gekauft, eine niederländische Segelyacht aus Stahl. Gebaut in den 60er Jahren, wunderschön, mit einem kassischen Schnitt mit Langkiel. Der Innenausbau war aus Holz mit viel Charme, wenn auch an der einen oder anderen Stelle abgewetzt und verbastelt. Relativ große Fenster und die Stehhöhe im Innenraum sorgten für eine große Gemütlichkeit.

Imbassaí is wonderful small village directly by the Atlantic Ocean approximately 80 km north of Salvador. The former indigenous village has become a touristic center in the region, due to its amazing location and beauty. It’s directly located where a river with the same name (Imbassaí) flows into the ocean. The river separates the beaches, which are located on an offshore island, from the land. That means if you’re on the beach island you can choose between the wild saltwater of the Atlantic Ocean or the calm sweet water of the Imbassaí river.

A couple boats are fixed along the shore of a river. Beside the river only shrubs.

At the shore of a river are three boats. One longboat is in the water, two short ones are placed on a bamboo construction.

A couple wooden boats are fixed together in the open Walter of a river. The boats are filled with equipment for fishing.
