Well, I did contact #Amazon about the package they delivered to the wrong building.

The entirety of my conversation was handled by an automated system. This is a first.

Pro-tip: if you live in an apartment building, it pays to customize the look of your front door. This way, when #Amazon shits the bed again, the picture they have won't match your door, and you'll have proof positive that they delivered somewhere else.

In my case, I just put a mat in front of my door. When I see a picture of a door without a mat, I know they messed up. I guess someone could steal the mat, but they haven't.

(The door numbers are not always visible, so I don't rely on that.)

#Amazon shat the bed again. They delivered a package to the wrong building, and now I don't have it. I cannot complain about it yet, because someone might bring it to my door when they realize that it was not theirs.

I say "again" because it is not the first time they deliver stuff to the wrong building.

I was supposed to get an item delivered on Friday... it slipped to Saturday... then Sunday. I cancelled that order and put in a new one for the same item but in a different color.

This was yesterday. It was supposed to be delivered today... but... guess what... it slipped again!

Well, to thank Amazon for their great service, I'm getting another item but from some other store. Amazon was pretty much a shoo-in, but after the crap they've been pulling lately, I decided to look somewhere else.

I found the same item but for less. Fuck yeah!

This is the cost of their bullshittery.

#Amazon was supposed to deliver something yesterday.

They didn't.

Then they were supposed to deliver it today by 10pm.

It is 9pm, and the damn thing is not yet out for delivery. The chances that I'm going to get it today are slim...

I just got an Amazon delivery. The delivery guy performed the tiniest of knocks at my door.

I wish I could wire my door to play Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick by Ian Dury and The Blockheads, and force the delivery folks to listen to it.
