This week's #MusicWomenWednesday is one I can't stop listening to these last few days. I usually like to wait until a record is out and I've heard all of it, but these three preview tracks are so damn good, I wanted to share.

Glasgow's CLOTH is twins Rachael & Paul Swinton and their songs are incredibly great. Minimal, melodies galore. A new find for me this year (they have another cool LP from 2023).

LP 'Pink Silence' is out fully in less than a month, on April 25.

The entire record is great, but this song... Man, hits me right in the feels! So dark, almost grungy. No idea why they didn't release this as a single. Maybe they were worried it was *too* depressive? 🤔 Anyway, clearly the best song on the LP!

There's been some unusual music sightings at the TSMM Substack this week, as I wrote a Music for Election Reflection newsletter - check it out to get my thoughts! Luckily I tried to tie my analysis into some great music, from the batshit crazy to sublime ambient Americana via cutting edge dream pop and revolutionary jazz.
