Steve (hacks the) GibsonFinished up the Real-time Clock module and the ESP-8266 Wifi module. The only uncomfortable part was getting the ESP board soldered to the surface mount pads. Steve (hacks the) GibsonAssembled the CF card module for <a href="https://mastohack.com/tags/RC2014" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RC2014</a>, but on boot up the system hung while trying to probe it until timing out and continuing to the ROM boot prompt. With help and suggestions from Spencer and others on the rc2014 forum, I was able to use a multimeter to probe all the CF pins and found one that didn't have a connection. A careful application of the iron to the surface mount for that pin reflowed the solder and made a good weld. Steve (hacks the) GibsonFinished the SIO/2 module and installed it in the <a href="https://mastohack.com/tags/RC2014" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RC2014</a>. Plugged in a USB-serial cable between it and a laptop and powered it up. Used the "screen" program in Linux to connect to the serial port and voila! Steve (hacks the) GibsonMade good progress on the <a href="https://mastohack.com/tags/RC2014" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RC2014</a> Zed Pro Pride kit yesterday.
