I hope we collaborate with the U on some things in the future!One thing I was thinking was about how I like the open source nature of the <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/PreciousPlastic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#PreciousPlastic</a> movement. Whatever we might do -- such as using fancy university equipment to test the material characteristics of recycled plastic and composite lumber material, for example -- can be shared worldwide.

John NephewLast week we (<a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ReplayWorkshop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ReplayWorkshop</a>) received, free, a full trailer of 275 gallon IBC bottles, already washed, pure HDPE (white or natural), for <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/recycling" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#recycling</a> with our <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/preciousplastic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#preciousplastic</a> shredder. 90 of them in total, about 47 pounds each.A local trucking company accumulates more than they can sell or reuse. Payment from previous recycler dropped to be less than the cost of labor and transportation. They were delighted to have a local place where they could just bring the trailer and see it emptied.

NatalieTwo bits of plastic produced. The white is yoghurt and milk containers, the blue and white is milk/ yoghurt containers and milk/ Pepsi max soda stream lids.I learnt a few things: ▪️The white plastic shows every piece of polluting material! ▪️The suede heat proof gloves leave red fibres in the plastic ▪️The soda stream lids have a gooier consistency than other HDPE items? It stuck to the silicone baking sheets in an annoying, goopy way. ▪️The silicone sheets shift around and pick up dirt. ▪️I can't press into the fresh, hot and soft plastic with biscuit cutters as easily as I thought. Plastic sticks to the metal, or "heals" over the impression. ▪️I need some hella heavy things to stack on the sheet when I'm compressing and cooling it. ▪️I need to learn how to use the scroll saw I was given. I'm a bit worried because I have no idea how to use one and I don't have anything to suck up the plastic dust and I don't want to generate more microplastics! ▪️I need an activated charcoal filter respirator. ▪️I want a heat press. And a plastic shredder.
