Herr Irrtum!<p><a href="https://climatejustice.social/@bangskij" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@bangskij@climatejustice.social</a><span><br><br>\o/ Yeah, it's totally complicated with me and myself. Writing this from my "international artist account" (the other one is my "German Rants + German Net politics" account).<br><br>But hey, what a time to be alive – this is my very first international artist cooperation over the Internet and at that over the </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/Fediverse" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Fediverse</a><span> ever (!). And it's funny how it got to that - I think I was a bit rude in my comment about a very first demo the Captain released (but only about a certain aspect, his special gift about super catchy song writing was clearly there already back then). So one thing let to another and finally I found myself singing and also providing a little tiny additional sequence that made it (modified by the captain) event into this final version. <br>I apologize for my singing style – typically I'm not using that "male voice posing " persona of mine; but I felt it fits well into this wasteland-end-of-all mood that at the same time is contracted by the Captains light disco beats. <br>Also dat break in the middle!! You need to hear it! <br><br>This may even be stuff for the </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/gothdiscoinferno" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#gothdiscoinferno</a><span> created by a certain Bauhausmensch, but I dunno if it qualifies for being good enough just because I sing like a drugged horny goth god. <br><br>I seriously appreciate it you all give it a good listen - and not only this song - the whole album by "Life Substitute" that's the Captain's artist name as my artist name is "die nmi!" is wonderful, there even better songs at it than this. <br>I mean it, this deserves much (!) more attention.<br><br>Also because any money that comes in (if any comes in) will be going out to </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/povertyAffected" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#povertyAffected</a><span> people.<br>On top of it it's </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/creativecommons" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#creativecommons</a><span> CC-By-SA licensed (not only this track), so feel free to get your copy, even if you can't pay for it.<br>I hope I find time (May soonest realistically) to make a nice remix of it, that will be... different, darker even (if that's ok with the Captain ;) - didn't ask him so far ;) ).<br><br>By the way, there will be more cooperations with Fediverse artists and me in the future, and if the ones read this, they may wonder: Why I'm not reporting back? RL is still very difficult for me (typing right now in the train, going to my health issue plagued parents) - I will make it in April, that's a promise... This one was sung by me back in September I think, when all was fine in my RL. The Captain did almost countless iterations of this track until we both felt (I mean it's his track, I'm just some minor advisor... and well... singer) good about it.<br><br>And is it </span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/bonkwave" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bonkwave</a><span> you may ask? Is it? No, totally not. We are totally against it. Aren't we? Or is it? What do I know?<br><br></span><a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/music" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#music</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/hornyGoth" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#hornyGoth</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/Wasteland" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Wasteland</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/musicRecommendations" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#musicRecommendations</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/fediArtists" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fediArtists</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/fediCollab" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fediCollab</a> <a href="https://s.basspistol.org/tags/fediMusic" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fediMusic</a></p>
Herr Irrtum!<p>OK, I'm <a href="https://mastodon.de/tags/newHere" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>newHere</span></a> / <a href="https://mastodon.de/tags/neuHier" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>neuHier</span></a> at mastodon.de but never mind - I've been around the Fediverse for a long time… Actually, I just moved from <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mstdn.social/@Herr_Irrtum" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>Herr_Irrtum@mstdn.social</span></a></span> to this cozy place here ;)</p><p>Typically I'll write in German language at this account – this post being an exception.</p><p>Because I want to thank <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mstdn.social/@stux" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>stux</span></a></span> from mstdn.social for a rock solid experience over there for 4 years which isn't something to be taken as granted at all, considering the massive amount of users there are. Thank you mate for making it possible, and still having an ear for your users.<br>The think that pulled my leg and broke my neck at mstdn.social was the 500 char limit (that wasn't always the case but unfortunately it is now); so I had to move sooner or later (just look at this post to understand ;) ).</p><p>I could have moved to a lot of other instances which allow more than 500 chars per post – but mind you – I've asked some admins how SAFE that enhanced char limit is; And the most original answer came from <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.de/@MastodonDE" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>MastodonDE</span></a></span> telling me it is like **TOTALLY** safe, because else <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.de/@ErikUden" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>ErikUden</span></a></span> wouldn't be able to use it.;)<br>Well – *that* was totally convincing!<br>And the fact that Erik is the chief in charge here and that I am somewhat became a fan of him and his very thoughtful posts of course played into my very complicated and over engineered "account moving" decision making process.<br>And thanks btw. to <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.de/@ErikUden" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>ErikUden</span></a></span> for even personally welcoming me, not just by a cold automatic mail but in a quite nice and individual way. Appreciate it!!</p><p>About me – just check my profile.</p><p>Enough blubbering now... just one more thing:</p><p>If you are NOT <a href="https://mastodon.de/tags/Armutsbetroffen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Armutsbetroffen</span></a> / <a href="https://mastodon.de/tags/povertyAffected" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>povertyAffected</span></a> (and unfortunately there are a lot of people living in such a condition) – no matter at which instance you are on – consider <a href="https://mastodon.de/tags/donating" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>donating</span></a> a small amount monthly to your instance. Almost most Fediverse instances are run by volunteers and maintaining a server means costs (for server rent quite directly, and indirectly for the hours spent by doing moderation, updates, database health maintenance, storage monitoring and what not).</p>
