Kayla Eilhart (en)
I started occasionally streaming almost five years ago. I had no idea what to do back then ...

... yesterday, we were streaming with @cyberladies a discussion about hiring in cybersecurity (it's in Czech, currently on https://www.twitch.tv/cyberladies for those interested, it will be later on our YouTube channel) and I realized that I now posses a set of three adjustable lights, proper camera, good microphone, am able to style myself a little bit and can run two OBS instances in parallel - one doing virtual camera with green screen and the other one processing the actual stream of a video call with a few other people. And all of it using Linux (when I started, I used Streamlabs OBS on Windows, hadn't used it for a long time). And there's so much more I learnt to do over time, including grabbing video from different sources, adding a variety of assets to streams etc.

I think next on my path will be to learn basics of Blender and some video editing tool to create some proper scripted videos about my favorite topics and become an e-girl or something 😺

Attached images are my selfies before the yesterday's stream to illustrate where am I now.

#streaming #obs #twitch
